The software is useless!  |

Yes it does what it says it does, but if you are using MacOS 9.04 you shouldnt install the iomega software that comes on the CD with it because it conflicts with the USB driver software in the MacOs. It will run quite well without their software. Try it and see. Like so many add ons everyone needs, there are a whole lot of software problems associated with it.

The Iomega Zip 250 USB drive offers simple, solid, portable storage. The required drivers, from the supplied CD, take care of all the complex work and the connectivity with the USB lead couldnt be simpler. Very slim, stylishly finished (a big improvement over the older Zip drives) and easily packed away when traveling. The only niggle that I have suffered from is one case of the drive locking up. This was simply cured by ejecting the disk and starting the file transfer again. No fuss...
